It was so heart warming atleast he made up with his father...! Also i read comments saying its abbusive .. his father's act mad me mad but i guess obviously his father has got some rights over him ... i felt so sad hearing he was beaten without any mercy but see the good part guys .. he proved himself infront of his father now he wants to thank him like wow... I've been with Infinite for more than 2 years but how could i miss this 😍

I feel more respect and admiration for #Hoya. Despite all his efforts he has made a good journey. It is good to see that father and son are coming closer. In our ancient culture(India) it is rightly said that a father should be like a friend of his son after the age of 15. Though
he left #Infinite later but I hope he is well of and happy. Will miss him too!!

can somebody tell me how these footage is taken??

I don't know why but I avoided watching this for so long even tho it came out in recommended section so.many.times. I can't fully relate to it, but my father had similar relationship with his late father. It's never easy, it's never simple... I'm just glad that Hoya grew up to be a wonderful human being despite all the troubles he went through. My dad turned out to be my hero as well, great father and loving husband.
Because of similarity with my father, I feel more affection towards Hoya now, I know it takes a lot of strength in such young years and it's hard. If he ever decides so, I think Hoya would be a good father. I wish him all the best.

When I was a kid, I was abused so badly, It was terrifying. Thankfully, even tho I'm already 16, my dad and mom REFUSE to hit me again. Glad my parents changed their ways.. When hoya said he see's his father within his actions at some points, I could say the same with me, I see my parents within my actions, I also hate it. Hoya is sometimes so quiet and reserved, I'm the SAME way. The way parents act towards children CAN affect shape the way a person becomes, it's so sad because it happened to me. :( I've become the way my parents were and I fucking hate it so much, but gradually I'm trying to change into someone better. Hoya, I love you, I understand you, stay strong <3

Stan Day6 As someone who was also abused and working on healing myself, I hope that you will one day be able to heal yourself and become the person you want to be. Not sure if you've heard of inner child healing but it has helped me a lot on my journey. Hope it will help you!

watching this makes you think about a lot of things. i've never considered my father as scary too, but it's just that we don't get along well.

Watching this AGAIN made my heart crushed AGAIN He left school for his dreams but now isn't he reached his dreams but why did he left inft T_T (Maybe it's because of Woollim right? OR not? I don't know) T_____T

i think people should know, you wont stay in same place for years. once you achieved your dreams, you will try to create bigger dreams to improve yourself. if dont hv dream anymore, you will lost your will to improve yourself, get out from your comfort zone. its normal fr people to do this, in our normal live, you dream to get a job, then improve your rank in your compny, so on.

God bless Hoya because I wouldn't have anything to do with the father - at first I was hesitant to judge him, but HE BEAT HIS SON MERCILESSLY WITH A BASEBALL BAT FOR QUITTING SCHOOL!!! After that, I was absolutely done with "giving him a chance."
IN NO CULTURE is it normal to do that!!
Also, if your two adult children want absolutely nothing to do with you, won't even talk to you, but are both close to their mother, YOU'VE DONE SOMETHING WRONG.
Maybe the father was abused, but I see Hoya recognizing and trying his hardest to break the cycle of violence while the father doesn't seem to regret anything, is absolutely not ashamed and even tries to justify his actions. You don't have to pat him on the head but beating him with a baseball bat is just about the last thing that you should do. It only creates fear and hate. You don't have anyone to blame but yourself for your son refusing to even say a word to you!
Hoya recognizes when he's being like his father and he hates it. You can see it in his face, hear it in his speech when he's talking about being like his father. He's trying his hardest to change it.

salut sama perjuangnya hoya😢

why everyone gets mad at hoya's father? and i know hitting their child with baseball bat is kinda child abuse, but IT'S ALREADY PAST. PAST IS A PAST OKAY. Dont get mad easily, look through the positive way. I'm very grateful that he didnt gave up on his dream, if not? there wouldnt be Infinite. It's my opinion and everyone deserves tell their opinion right?

i know hoya's father was abusive towards hoya. no doubt...but i can't help but feel bad for the father as well. the kids dont talk to him much, everything is awkward. for decisions that were big, his father finds out later. i understand, in a way, where this is coming from. i like how he supports his younger son so much after learning a lesson from hoya's life. he obviously cares for hoya a lot too which is why he plays infinite songs all the time that even the family has all the lyrics memorized. i mean, how many 56 year old guys can say the same (and for a boy group at that).

Family bonds are really important. It was nice to see them reconciling.

It's probably mean but how can Hoya be so tall and handsome with his parents ?
I can't even see a little bit of his father in him 😂😂😂

where is the part 2? this already full story maybe this not totally full story

there are 4 stories about stars' father. Hoya is one of them, so next story is about other star's father.

As mad as some of you are getting, we've all made mistakes in our past and at least we can see that they're trying to change and make progress. Nothing you can do about what happened before. He's obviously very proud of his son now and Hoya just wants a normal relationship with his father. I also understand that it's hard to show some emotions because it makes you feel weak. Which is why I hate showing affection to my family. Especially since my mom always told me I had to be the "strong" one. And as a middle child I feel like I have to work harder and do more than the rest. But I hope things get better for them and that now Hoya takes these lessons and does his best when he has his own children.

I think the thing is, Hoya didn't want his father to be punished, but to him to see he was wrong and be the father Hoya always wanted to have. So, his father was wrong, but going to the jail is not what was going to fix the situation between them and it was not what Hoya wanted. In this situation, they ended well, and the program is using this exemple to "give hope", some way, to those with the same problem. The big problem here is that, his father still talks about the "lesson" he gave to Hoya like he wasn't totaly wrong, and that makes me think that he actualy didn't regret it.
