CLIP DESCRIPTION:
George (John Lithgow) gives Harry (Kevin Peter Hall) a proper goodbye, and Harry returns to the woods to join his family of sasquatches.
FILM DESCRIPTION:
While vacationing in the Pacific Northwest, the Henderson clan's dad, George (John Lithgow); mom, Nancy (Melinda Dillon); daughter, Sarah (Margaret Langrick); and son, Ernie (Joshua Rudoy), accidently run over a strange animal with their car, and when they get out to see what it is, they find the seemingly dead body of a hairy Bigfoot-type monster (Kevin Peter Hall). Believing that the creature is a grizzly bear, the Hendersons take it home, planning to stuff the beast and put it on display in their living room. Predictably, the hirsute monster revives and is adopted by the family as a pet. Originally conceived as a TV series by comedian Brad Garrett, Harry and the Hendersons ultimately did make it to the small screen as a weekly syndicated sitcom in 1990, with Kevin Peter Hall repeating the title role during the series' first 24 episodes.

Okay he can talk!
When Wallace Wrightwood put his arm around Jacque LaFleur from 1:55-2:07, hopefully Jacque wasn't smelling very bad anymore because when his lawyer got him released from jail he said to Jacque "you need a bath" especially since Jacque got arrested when he was inside a dumpster full of trash.
Dk
30 years later, and I still get emotional over this scene.
This Is the best ending in all movie history. I Would've loved it if they made it a movie franchise where Harry stays with the family all the way.
Anybody else cry when you were a kid when they saw this? I know I can’t be the only one
Such a beautiful ending.
i don't know which ending is sad. E.T.'s or Harry's?
so harry is a cross between a dog and human? gross.
I love this movie
Sad sene
So sad 😢 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
Dose it have a movie
Z I like you so much love ❤️
0:50 They can understand human language?
I thought harry could talk
a sasquatch encounter is also incredibly terrifying and i mean TERRIFYING.
bigfoot does exsist
I always liked the way LaFleur was a bad guy at the start and became a good guy at the end.
It would cool to hear him make a Chewbacca sound before leaving.
2:01 I smell a sequel
I haven't seen this movie in two decades until I finally saw it again on Netflix. I forgotten how good this movie was. Such a beautiful film.
Its so sad (good bye harry)
It's not sad cuz he went back with his family.
Poirot was in this movie?
Bye Harry!
What's the sad music
This movie is so bad
Harry bad as in good or bad as in bad
The part when his family appears out of nowhere: all the chills and "awww!" 😊Clever, clever cue applause
You wouldn't believe how often this happens in the Pacific Northwest. It's like every weekend some NPR supporting middle class family brings their Squatch back to the woods.
Elliott Bennett alright I'll ask, how often
This is and always be my childhood movie
Ok i feel old
The only Scene to bring tears to my Eyes. It was so beautiful.
"They have a LANGUAGE?!"
I cried
"Sniff" Just choppin' onions over here.
know they know big foot exist.
I believe that was Harry's wife; yes, Mala. And then his dad Itchy, followed by his adorable son, Lumpy.
Rynona Wider I would still prefer this over the Star Wars holiday special any day
Haha, this movie is a classic. Awesome last scene, Harry actually has a language, and a family that materializes from an invisible state. Inter dimensional squatch. haha. Great make up work too. They have the appropriate sagittal crest, often reported in big males (aka the conehead like some gorillas have), and they hired an actual 7 foot 2 inch actor, Kevin Hall to wear the outfit.
they werent invisible if you look more clearly at the video you will see that they were camo'd in with the the trees
And plus, they searched around and found a 7 ft 3 actor, which makes the movements in the suit more realistic.
Totally. No CGI, just cool makeup work.
Great movie, First time my friend saw it we were on some heavy shit, Haha more than once he thought the bigfoot was real, It was really funny to watch him freak out when it chases the hunter in the woods he kept losing it...good times!
Its hard to beleive the Hendersons are related to Bigfoot through neanderthal dna in cauasians, but hey thats just a theory....A FILM THEORY!
SCREAMING INTENSIFIES
i love this movie exspecially when george tells harry to sit.So funny:-)
Goodbye Harry Henderson

One month later...at Scotland
Nancy: What is it?
George: Looks like a plesiosaurus.
Ernie: That's Nessie!
If only they capitalized on LaFleur's final lines
