About this channel : My name is JT Franco and I’m the creator of the JT Franco YouTube channel. I dropped out of high school with failing grades. I knew this wasn't the end of the road for me so i started a NHL gaming channel. After a few years of minimal income i went into the sales industry where i met Nick Bosch who opened my eyes to the opportunity of making money online specifically Amazon! Since then i have grown my brand to multiple 6 figures. After seeing so many of my friends and family being caught in this corporate rut i decided it was my mission in life to create a massive movement of helping people become financially free. In the past year I’ve freed hundreds of people from the 9-5 grind. I teach how to make money online and live the best life you can, with the freedom to do the things you want to do always. Come say hi on social media, I respond to every message and I always will. Remember you can completely change your life at any time, you just need to start.

Yeah man, thanks for all the stats. The thing is that people don't have the patience!!! I am just getting started, but I have already had some tough times...but can't wait to see where I am in 10 months from now. Keep it up bro!

Hey sir I am a 14 year old and want to earn a bit money can you tell me some ways would love if you reply 😊😊

+JT Franco ok makes since I get the hint thanks man

+Jake Beard If that's your concern then i've got a answer for you :) Don't try to compete at the lower price but rather build a real brand that your customers will love and offer the best customer service! How often do you buy a product that is generic and has no real bad story to why they made it and actually truly loved there product and would be a customer for life. For example, why is apple able to charge more money for their iphone? Or why are my students able to sell their product at a much higher price then their competitors? The simple answer to that is that they care about there customer and not just about the money they can offer. Hope that helps!!

Great vid, thanks for sharing.
I've owned my own IT businesses and I've held senior roles in major corporate businesses and I found it very hard/complex to set up an Amazon shopfront and do it properly. Things I found out:
Be sceptical about get rich quick Amazon gurus
Drop shipping makes you VERY little profit
Revenue is vanity, profit is sanity so do your maths
You have to use social media to drive customers so learn how
You need a professional approach to customer service
You have to understand how to be different to your competition
Take a long term view, you will learn very quickly once you get started
Life's easier if you can sell in the US

Haha thanks for pointing that out man. Ive been told that a lot but haha I'll keep it short if need be

Thanks so much for the information. You literally described my “fear” and remotivated me to just go for it! Could you do a drop shipping video for amazon? I’d love to hear your thoughts on that!!

Immediately upon watching your video, I had to google "How many sellers on Amazon". Answer about 1 million this year. NOT FIVE. Also, have you considered that along with seller base growing, the customer base may be growing even more?

Thank you for this video! This is what I needed to go all in.

I like that no one tells you in these videos about amazon FBA, that there is a 15.3% self employment tax from your annual earnings if you make more than 400 dollars.

Thanks for sharing! Love the facts you laid out 👍🏻 But I have a question, if selling in amazon is so great and ur earning well, why would u spend time and go through the hassle getting newbies like us to join amazon? 🤔

I love your style man bring some more video!!! Very interesting content as I'm doing a Clickbank affiliate program and trying to see if I should do Amazon FBA after. Thanks man.

North America 79,785 106,110 141,366 5%

Amazon keeps getting bigger and bigger every year! It is not too late to start. Yes, it can be hard to start with all the competition, but artificial intelligence is pretty advance now with tools that'll help you get data to get ahead of your competition. I just found this and it is amazing.

Good luck selling Amazon fam!

Couldnt agree more. There's as much seller as there's consumer out there.. Probably even more.

You’re full of crap dude, I thought you said you had a catering business ..... ? Now you were in realestate and serving popcorn...... sureeeeeeee

JT Franco how about this man, there are a lot of ‘internet experts’ making ‘tens of thousands per month’ doing fba. Thing is I find a lot of them to be full of shit, and I don’t like when people forget their original made up back story. HOWEVER, I actually don’t mind your content, but can you please do videos that aren’t like the rest of these con artists.... for example, pick a product, show us you going through all the steps to sell said product etc, and show us that you’re a man of your word?? It’s something i would genuinely like to see and would put you above all the ‘fba experts’ on this site. ❤️❤️

I see where you're coming from man, but stroy telling is the key to YouTube. I know its not for everyone... But its truly the only reason you even saw this video. If I don't tell stories, my videos dont' get watch time, if I don't get watch time my videos dont rank, if my videos dont rank nobody sees them.

Having studied ben Cummings excellent course for 3 months and having a 6 figure FBA seller as a mentor, sourced good products and done IMHO everything right i would say unless you can improve on a product and have a big bankroll at least 20k, 10k for two product launches in case the first one fails, the odds of making a success are stacked against you. I

+Roulez Cool dont give up just yet. Most Amazon sellers fail in their first products.. Well first three products in my case 😂😂 patience is key, man!! Find the right mentor, course, community or whatever. Look for something that works for you. Grab all the support you can. Take advantage of all the free materials!! You'll get there if you persist 😉

+JT Franco i was very enthusiatic about making this work, studied hard, put in plenty of time, found a good product and IMO did everything right, but not succeeded. I'd like to try again but I can't see what to do different, I think that it is just wishful thinking that I can make it work on second attempt.

Not generalizing tho 😂

Having large investment may be an advantage or disadvantage. I encountered a lot of people kind of throwing money bc they have much.. Those with lower investments tend to do due diligence properly 🤔

Amazon FBA is not all it was 5 years ago! I am an FBA seller of 5.5 years experience and I used to source at thrift stores like Goodwill, Value Village, Salvation army, etc. Those absolutely SUCK now. I got a kick out of Side Hustle Pros videos on sourcing product for Amazon FBA from Goodwill in Oregon, where I also live. That was great 5 years ago, ok 3 years ago, and it's absolutely SUCKED for about 2 years now. Goodwill has completely lost their niche in the marketplace! Their prices are unrealistic for used items and they don't have nearly the new gear they used to buy from Target. Almost none. So, items I used to buy, like toys and games, etc., that were 2-4 bucks are now 4-10 bucks and no longer salable using FBA! They just don't sell for enough to warrant buying them for 4-10 bucks! Now, that being said, some "rookies" value their time sooooo little they are happy making 2 measly bucks on items using FBA! HUH?!! That's insane! Do you realize how much time there is to turning a 2 dolla profit on a used item?! Do you want to work for $4 bucks an hour...or LESS?!! Cuz that's what your making when you settle for a $2 profit! Plus, there are all sorts of YA-HOO Noobies in FBA now and you have to have some room to mark down your item when some IDIOT comes in with a LIKE NEW item selling where the GOOD items are priced! TWO bucks leaves you no where to go! I will only do a minimum of an $8 profit and want much more. My time is valuable and I won't work for nothing and neither should you!
Selling used VCR's on ebay is also a joke! Think about it...how many people do you know that actually still own a VCR let alone use it? Your blind friends that care nothing about clarity of picture? Or, love fuzzy video? Sure, they may sell those on ebay, but not that often. And yes, he sells combo's at a great price, but from a person who lived in Goodwill stores all around the vast Portland metro area, you rarely...and I mean almost never...see those combo VCR/CD units at Goodwill, etc. Sure, I've seen them, don't get me wrong, but not often enough to make it an item you can count on making any reasonable monthly income off of! Plus, it takes a lot of time to check them out, clean them, wrap them for safe shipping, and find a box that it'll fit in that isn't too small or too large! By the time you do all of that you are once again working for $4 bucks an hour! Yes, except for those combo's that are almost never found! I sold that gear retail for years. We rarely sold combo's back when they were new, so how often do you REALLY think you see used ones? Honestly, RARELY!
Then there is sourcing at Walmart, etc. These guys make it look easy and soooo profitable! HA! Sure, I've done it. And people have mentioned the honest truth - you have to quick flip the items before everyone and their brother comes in and marches the price to the bottom and makes it not profitable for anyone, or you have to wait for all of those IDIOTS to sell theirs and go out of stock on that item. BELIEVE ME, you are not often going to beat everyone else to getting your stock into FBA so you can catch the higher prices of that item when it sells! It ain't gonna happen! I've caught stuff just as it's being marked down, send it into FBA the same damn day, and still had the price drop by the time it got live on Amazon to where it was making me only a few bucks profit when it was going to make triple that when I found it! Then, the other sellers show up and the price goes down to where you barely break even - AT BEST! And many times it is a negative profit 2 days after my rushed stock arrives at Amazon. NOPE, typically you'll have to wait for the long haul, pay some long term storage, or better yet, just send in a few items, wait for the IDIOTS to sell there stock and no profit, and then sell your few items and send in more. Now, that typically can take at least 6 months - on the very optimistic side -and A YEAR on the more realistic view! On typically ranked items. Hot ranked items can be much quicker, but those usually aren't items Walmart, etc are marking down to clearance prices we can buy and "potentially" make money at! Seriously, I found sourcing from those typical places everyone else does to be a total JOKE! Not unless you want to sit on your inventory for about a year and then make a good profit on them! That does work GREAT! If you want to sit on the stuff. I'm doing that on some indoor / outdoor thermometers right now - but, I bought them over 1.5 years ago! Yeah, sold a ton, but had to wait on a ton too, when the IDIOTS drove the price to no profit, and I simply refused to give them away.
So, I wouldn't recommend my best friend selling on Amazon FBA unless he studied and completely understood private labeling before he invested in it. There's money to be made there, but typically not to the noobie FBA person. I truly believe you have to understand how FBA works by doing it for a year or more, before you try to do private labeling. Noobies go ahead and give it a go, but like a video I watched where a guy said he and his wife lost $15,000 starting with FBA fresh, doing private label. I think you're in for a rude awaking and a lot of lost ca$h if you start off doing it. Better to be a semi seasoned FBA seller before venturing into that arena. I think FBA in general is much more difficult that it used to be. Sourcing isn't as easy as it once was...like all once great things - it gets too saturated. Mostly from these YouTubers promoting their channels (and making their money there!) by telling everyone and their brother about a good thing! Well, a once upon a time, a good thing...

I watched one of Kevin David's trainings for Amazon FBA. At the end of the 2 1/2 hour presentation, the cost of the course is revealed to be $997. I don't think newbies are aware of the Amazon fees that are involved which Kevin David never mentioned: a fulfillment fee for Amazon to pack and ship your items, a referral fee to sell on their platform, and a storage fee for them to store your inventory in their warehouses. If the inventory isn't rotating, there are alot more fees for storage at the 6 month and 1 year mark. With the fees that Amazon is collecting, close to half of your profits can be gone. No wonder why Amazon is one of the biggest companies in the world. I think there are too many sellers already to compete with. If you don't invest quite a bit of money to have your products make it to the top of the search list, nobody will scroll down more than a page or two to find it

Well... I, for one, just discovered Amazon FBA last year. It's not the same for all people. Just bc you know something, it doesn't mean that everyone knows it, too :)

As someone who sold other stuff before lol I'm used to paying up front cost and paying the "company" their cut, and having to hustle to make my money back and then profit. This honestly doesnt seem that different.

I'd say it's the same for all businesses though. But there are lot of things that makes Amazon stand out from most of them, if not all.

JT hope you see this. i'm looking into doing Amazon FBA i'm also a Canadian is there any difference doing this in Canada then in the US?. and seeing your Canadian if so do you take about it in your system course?

Hi there, as a Canadian wanting to sell on amazon.com , would I have to register my amazon business before I get started? ( from Ontario here ). Thanks in advance!

Money can still be made if constructed the right way when starting. Think about. . . Competition is a good thing. U have all these food chains that have been around forever such as McDonald’s, Burger King, etc. guess what. . . People are still making waves with new burger restaurants today. Honestly, u of course want start off making McDonald’s earnings but still can live a great life depending on the energy u put into just as an EXAMPLE. Same thing with this amazon fba. Just put the time and energy into it and you will be fine

I couldn't agree more, man! 💯 Be worried if you don't have a competition because that means, there's not much market for your product!
